Our Refurbishment Process
Every refurbished Konica Minolta bizhub sold by KM Connect SA goes through the same inspection, service and testing routine before it is offered for sale. This page sets out exactly what that covers, so you know what stands behind the machine you are buying.
What we inspect and replace
- Print engine and imaging unit: inspected for wear; consumable components replaced where needed.
- Paper feed rollers replaced where worn to restore reliable feeding.
- Drums, developer units and fusing assemblies checked against service thresholds.
- Firmware and controller configuration verified and updated.
What we test before a unit is cleared for sale
- Copy, print and colour scan functions verified end to end.
- Duplex printing and automatic document feeder operation.
- Paper feeding from every tray, including bypass and finishing paths where fitted.
- A final test cycle on the exact machine you will receive.
Meter reading disclosure policy
The meter reading, the total page count on the machine, is the single best indicator of a refurbished unit’s remaining service life. We record it during the inspection and confirm it with your quote, so you know exactly where the machine you are buying sits before you commit. Low-meter units are available regularly; ask for current stock when requesting a quote.
Condition grading
Each unit is graded on cosmetic and mechanical condition, and the grade is confirmed with your quote alongside the meter reading. Because no two refurbished machines are identical, pricing follows the unit’s condition rather than a fixed list price.
