Buying refurbished
What is the difference between a used and a refurbished copier?
A refurbished copier is a used machine that has been through a dealer’s defined inspection, service and testing process, with its condition and meter reading confirmed before sale. What condition is a refurbished bizhub from KM Connect SA?
Condition and grade are confirmed per unit, because meter readings and wear differ from machine to machine. What does the refurbishment check cover?
Each unit goes through our refurbishment and testing process before dispatch, covering the device’s print, copy and scan functions, with worn parts replaced where needed. The refurbishment process page sets out exactly what every unit passes through.
Do you deliver, and how long does it take?
We deliver from Randburg across Gauteng and nationwide in South Africa, and timing is confirmed with your quote because it depends on the specific unit and your location. Installation in Gauteng includes siting the machine and walking your users through basic operation.

What does an office printer cost in South Africa?
There are three lanes. New Konica Minolta devices are quoted per model and configuration. Refurbished bizhub machines sit at an estimated market range of R15,000 to R35,000, with the final quote per unit. Rental is quoted per machine and your expected monthly volume. Why are refurbished prices confirmed per unit rather than listed?
Because no two used copiers are identical, pricing follows condition and meter reading rather than a fixed list price. That way you know exactly which unit you are buying, and its condition is confirmed before you commit.
Rental
How much does it cost to rent a photocopier in South Africa?
Monthly rental is quoted per machine and monthly volume. There is no single going rate, because the figure depends on the model, its speed and features, and the volume you expect to print each month. Send your volume with your enquiry and the quote follows it. See printer and photocopier rental.
Should my business rent or buy a printer?
If you want to preserve capital, prefer a predictable monthly cost, or expect your printing needs to change, renting is usually the more practical route. If you plan to run the same machine for many years, buying new or refurbished tends to work out cheaper. The rental page compares the two.
Is maintenance included in a printer rental?
Maintenance and servicing are arranged with the rental agreement and confirmed with your quote. As an authorised Konica Minolta dealer, KM Connect services the bizhub range it rents.
Service & repairs
Do you service the printers you supply?
Yes. After-sales support and product maintenance are part of what we do, with trained technicians and a service booking form on the site. That support is the reason to buy from a dealer rather than a stranger on a classifieds site.
How do I book a service call?
Use the Book a Service form: it captures your company details, contact number, printer model and the fault, so the right technician comes out prepared. You can also call 010 593 9199 during office hours, 8 am to 5 pm.
What is bizhub vCARE?
bizhub vCARE is Konica Minolta’s automated meter-reading and remote service care package for bizhub devices. Your machine submits its own meter readings and is monitored remotely, so servicing happens before small faults become downtime. Ask for it with your quote on the bizhub vCARE page.
